Antigen Rapid Test (ART) FAQ

ART is a diagnostic test that detects the presence of viral proteins (antigens) found in a sample from the respiratory tract of a person caused by COVID-19 virus.

ART is efficient for pre-event testing as the ART result is normally out within 20 – 30 minutes. Result is valid for 24 hours only. A SMS will be sent to notify you of your result.

No, we are able to do the test for all ages.

Kindly produce proof of identity such as NRIC/FIN/Passport.

For inconclusive test results, our ground staff will repeat the ART test for you. If the repeat test is still inconclusive, you may opt for the PCR test which will take 1 – 2 days for report turnaround.

For positive ART results, it is mandatory to perform the PCR test to determine that the person is a confirmed positive case. As the turnaround time for the PCR test is 1 – 2 days, we will not be able to issue the certification for attendance at the event. You are required to isolate yourself at home until the release of your PCR test result.

ART is usually for pre-event testing for events such as B2B events, wedding receptions, live performances and sports events.
